ABOUT US
A coalition that grew into a
foundation.
We began as the NYS Coalition for School Based Health Centers, now the New York School-Based Health Alliance. The Foundation is its 501(c)(3) arm. Our mission is education, research, and support for the growth of school-based health centers, and better access for every child in the state.

Education & Research
We aim to raise public understanding of the school-based model and the quality of care inside SBHCs.

Comprehensive Access
We help to provide medical, behavioral, oral, tele, and community health care for children and youth statewide.

Growth
We want to increase the number of school-based health centers across more areas of New York.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion
A variety of perspectives enriches the organization and lets us better serve our community and/or student patients. We are committed to building an equitable and inclusive organization representative of the communities we serve, in compliance with the existing federal and state anti-discrimination laws.
