NYC Schools Offering Students Free Meals

The Department of Education announced starting Tuesday, March 23, grab-and-go breakfast and lunch will be provided for students to pick up at their nearest public school. Operating between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., nearly 150 hub sites will be open across all 5 NYC boroughs.

School based health centers and nurses will play a role by serving on site to provide families with medication and regular medical services, during the normal school hours.
