A  letter to House leaders seeking funding for SBHCs was sent today by sponsor Rep. Elise Stefanik. Co-sponsored by Rep. Paul Tonko and eight other NYS Congress members, the letter, based on a similar one sent out to Michigan’s delegation by the School-Community Health Alliance of Michigan, seeks $100M for sbhcs in the 4th federal stimulus package to aid in offsetting losses in revenue and to assure sbhcs across the nation are able to open their doors for the next school year.
