New York School-Based Health Centers 2022-2023 Annual Report

We are excited to bring you the 2022-2023 Annual Report on New York School-Based Health Centers. This report describes the invaluable work of New York’s school-based health centers, including the nature of the students and communities they serve, the health conditions they encounter, the mix of services they offer, and the care they provide to their students.

The report is made possible by the Statewide SBHC Data Hub, a project of the New York School-Based Health Foundation to address the current lack of data needed to document and improve the statewide impact of NY’s SBHCs. We’d also like to thank Apex Evaluation for their invaluable help in putting this report together.

Who We Are

We are a 501-c-3 nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that vulnerable school children have access to quality care delivered by NY's 250 school-based health centers.  We work hand-in-hand with the NY School-Based Health Alliance, the membership and advocacy organization of NY's school-based health centers.

What We Do

We work to promote, strengthen, and expand access to NY's school-based health centers by offering technical assistance, training, and data services. We also work to build public awareness of the vital role and enormous potential of school-based health centers.
